WEIRD DAD

With a narrative that cuts between two subsequent weeks, Weird Dad tells the story of a family's struggle with terminal illness and psychosis. After starting a new cancer treatment, Damien Allen experiences five days of intense steroid-induced psychosis; an experience which has a unique impact upon both himself and his family. Together, yet increasingly apart, they each find their own way of coping as the weight of the everyday grows heavier. Weird Dad is the story of one family's unique experience, and how that experience has a lasting impact on each of them.
